Psychic Vampires / Drawing Energy

I recently received the following anecdote from a new reader:

I just stumbled on your website...well, not stumbled, actually, but was led there after watching a video on YouTube about Ted Bundy's ghost which mentioned 'Phantoms & Monsters.' Needless to say, I found your site to be quite interesting. One of the first things I read, out of curiosity, was Toxic Relationship or Vampire Attack by Dani Harper. This kind of peaked my interest because of something that pertains to me...or rather specifically, things that tend to occur around me and to me.

Allow me to explain: I was born prematurely in 1956, three months before I was supposed to be born. I weighed a little over 2 pounds, had a collapsed lung, and dropped to less than 2 pounds shortly after my birth. The doctor told my mother I would not survive, and she replied, "God wouldn't give me a child after twelve years just to take her away from me." He told her that if I survived the night, and start to put on weight, I just might live, but it would be a miracle.

In those days, they did not have neonatal intensive care units like they do today. I was put in a regular nursery with other babies. My father told me many times that babies who were healthy and normal started to die, and I began to thrive. I was so tiny that the wristband they were supposed to put on me, which just barely fit my father's thumb, fell off, so they had to pin it to my clothing.

Even nowadays, I find I can "draw" energy from around me. I used to belong to a coven in West Long Branch, NJ. We would all gather together for rituals during the full moon or on certain holidays, like Yule. On one such occasion, we gathered and then broke the circle to meditate together. The fireplace was lit and the room was very warm, but once we started to meditate, everyone stated how cold the room suddenly got, and began to shiver. I was the only one who was warm...and quite, well, content. Thunderstorms with lightning make me feel quite energized, and on another occasion, while in Manhattan for the Fourth of July, a friend and I decided to sit in Tompkins Square Park...my little girl was with us...and I told my friend to sit across from me...hold out her hands beneath mine, and let her mind go blank. I concentrated, and she said she felt a ball of energy between our hands and suddenly my daughter screamed with glee, and, my friend, gasped; around us must have been a hundred fireflies....just around us.

I've always known I was "different"....yes, I guess I relate to the whole "psychic vampire" thing. D

NOTE: It took me a fair amount of time to learn how to draw and store energy. When you mention that to most people they look at you like you're crazy...but I feel it is a natural ability that has been lost by a civilized society. Of course, there are some who use their energy-drawing ability to cause harm...which is unfortunate. It has been used against me and others I know on occasion. Nonetheless, it is an essential tool for those who heal others, as well as those who combat malevolent entities. Lon

Who are these 'energy or psychic vampires?'

While they may not suck the blood out of you, they do drain your energies leaving you depressed and irritable say Wiccans.

If you've ever been in a crowded train or party and come back home feeling physically sick, angry, cranky, or irritable for no reason, you were probably subjected to an attack from a psychic vampire according to Sangeeta Krishnan, High Priestess, Maya Wicca Tradition.

How to identify a 'psychic vampire'?

Shahrukh Vazir, a tarot reader and East Indian mystic, says, "People associate the word vampire with blood sucking creatures, however the concept of a 'psychic vampire' is slightly different because they do not suck your blood but drain you of your psychic energy. You can come across a psychic vampire anywhere - a screaming baby that makes you irritable, a crowded train, a walk in the hot sun. But if there is a problem, there is a solution to it. There are ways to protect oneself from this loss of energy. To start off, we should be aware that one is loosing psychic energy. Next, it is important to want to retain this energy. This intention is enough to shield oneself."

How spiritual healing can protect you?

Sangeeta adds, "Not everyone is vulnerable to a psychic attack. If you are well grounded, and your 'spiritual immunity' is high, you will be protected from all kinds of psychic attacks. If you identify a place or person that drains your energy (whether or not it is unintentional or malicious), the simplest way to deal with it in the short term is by staying away from the person/place/object. You can also visualize a bright, golden sphere surrounding your body that diverts all negative energy. One very simple way of protection is salt. Salt crystals are powerful protectors of energy and one of the best ways to protect yourself using salt is to put a fistful of pure, uniodized sea salt in your bath water. Crystals like obsidian and tourmaline can be placed at a spot or carried around as they absorb negative energy. Smudging a house (or yourself) with dhoop or smoke of frankincense is another way to energize and strengthen your auric field and prevent psychic attacks."

Mandaar Naik, who is also a mystic, believes in the power of spiritual healing and faith. He says, "Every living body in the universe is surrounded by invisible energy, which we often refer to as an 'aura'. It's channelized with each other, knowingly or unknowingly. All of us draw energy from each other, as well as send it. However, there are some people who are knowingly or unknowingly drawing energies from other people. Such individuals are like 'energy/psychic vampires'. To avoid becoming a victim, one can turn to Reiki, chanting mantras and practicing meditation. You can also use tantras eg. Shiv-Swar shastra are tools to shield one self from such people." - timesofindia

The Evil Eye of Envy

Through the ages, people have always feared various forms of evil. Folklorist Alan Dundes, in his edited volume The Evil Eye: A Casebook notes that "the victim's good fortune, good health, or good looks — or unguarded comments about them — invite or provoke an attack by someone with the evil eye. If the object attacked is animate, it may fall ill. Symptoms of illness caused by the evil eye include loss of appetite, excessive yawning, hiccups, vomiting, and fever. If the object attacked is a cow, its milk may dry up; if a plant or fruit tree, it may suddenly wither and die."

People believed, and still believe, that some people possess the evil eye. Their glance or gaze results in loss of energy. They spread negativity wherever they go. They feed on other people’s energy. The concept of witch and vampire has its origins in this idea. Then there are people who grant energy copiously; these are the saints and the gods and the holy men, even performers and film stars, who attract vast crowds.

When children fall sick for no apparent reason, when things suddenly start to go wrong or when road blocks come your way repeatedly, people say, the evil eye has struck. The idea is prevalent in almost every corner of the world. Ancient Irish legends speak of the evil eye of Balor, the one-eyed giant which inspired the concept of the Eye of Sauron in Tolkien's Lord of the Rings. The evil eye havoc, stemming from neighbor's envy, is called a curse or 'hex'.

The best way to understand the concept of evil eye is to accept the idea of auras. All human beings have an aura around them, known as the subtle body. It is a kind of energy shield emerging from our physical and mental health status. A beautiful or healthy object has positive aura, which is why looking at them makes us happy; they energize us. An ugly or unhealthy object has a negative aura, which is why looking at them makes us unhappy; they sap us of energy. It is possible to draw energy from positive aura objects and lose energy to negative aura objects.

An evil eye, on the other hand, can cause us to lose our aura, feel drained and powerless.

Ancient Egyptians believed that the 'Eye of Horus' protected one from the evil eye. Ancient Romans used phallic images to keep away bad luck. In Turkey, the blue 'Nazar' amulet is sold everywhere. In many Arab countries, one finds the hand of Fatima or Khamsa or Hamsa, which is a palm-shaped amulet to ward off the evil eye. Many Muslims believe that saying 'Mashallah,' or 'God wills it' creates a protective shield from the evil eye. The apparently modern idea of keeping your fingers crossed has its origin in using the Crucifix to keep away evil and ensure success.

In Edwin and Mona Radford's Encyclopedia of Superstitions they note that in many places "a cross-eyed or squinting person was almost universally feared. To meet one on the way to work is still regarded as a bad sign by miners, fishermen, Spanish bullfighters, and others who follow dangerous trades." Though such an affliction is clearly not the person's fault, nonetheless "any visible defect in the eye is readily associated by the superstitious with the evil eye." The evil eye is also said to be prevalent among the Roma (formerly known as Gypsies).

Babies and children are said to be especially susceptible to harm from the evil eye, and in many countries including Greece, Romania and India, praising a child publicly is sometimes considered taboo, for the compliment will draw the attention of the evil eye. In order to counteract the evil eye, parents of a thoughtlessly praised child may ask the person who gave the compliment to immediately spit in the child's face. Because the momentarily exalted youngster has been brought down a peg, any harm by the evil eye is unnecessary; this spittle salve is harmless yet insulting enough to negate the compliment.

The buri nazar (evil eye) is a big deal in India. It comes from the idea that a gaze can cause harm and commonly believed that, should someone curse you with it, the negative energy will bring about all kinds of illnesses and misfortunes. Anyone can possess an evil eye transiently. This follows envy, or even adoration, of something pretty or beautiful, like a child, who is most susceptible to nazar. Inadvertently, even a mother's gaze, can drain the child of positive aura resulting in sickness. The threat of this prompts people into taking enthusiastic protective actions ranging from drawing big black dots, the nazar ka tika, on babies’ foreheads to chanting mantras, and engaging the services of Hindu priests and astrologers, to ward it off.

The best way to deal with the evil eye is to avoid it in the first place, but there are ways to protect oneself. The method varies by culture, geographic region, and personal preference. Amulets can be worn to deter the evil eye, often using the color blue (symbolizing heaven or godliness) and an eye symbol. Charms, potions, and spells can also be prepared; garlic can be used to deter the evil eye, and some believe that just saying the word "garlic" offers protection.

Some shops sell nothing but talismans designed to ward the eye off. Often, people will hang up chilies, limes, and lemons as a homemade alternative. There are even places online that sell fruit-based wards to protect homes and offices against the evil eye, should you desire to improve your lot.

Alan Dundes notes, we "should keep in mind that the evil eye is not some old-fashioned superstitious belief of interest solely to antiquarians. The evil eye continues to be a powerful factor affecting the behavior of countless millions of people throughout the world."

Fair warning...before seeking retribution, seriously weigh if a suspected misfortune is actually from an evil eye attack or simply non-supernatural bad luck. The consequences can be deadly.

Assessing Clinical Remote Work

I recently read an account by Dr. Charles Wm. Skillas, who has practiced Energy Healing and Hypnotherapy since 1981. I am currently reading Skillas' book Remote Sessions and Attached Entities: Principles and Cases which examines several of his case files.

In the book, he asks:

What is death? What is reincarnation? What are demons? Is there life after death, and can past life regression reveal subconscious influences on your life today? Do angels and demons really compete for our attention, and what does your therapist know about exorcism?

I can honestly say that I don't buy into all of the evaluations made by Dr. Skillas...but it is interesting esoteric reading:

Dora is Jim's paternal grandmother and came to see me about him because of serious problems he was having in his life, like stealing money and jewelry from family members, skipping school, using drugs, becoming addicted to pornography on the computer and cutting himself with a razor. The grandmother is, understandably, very concerned about Jim who is 17. She asked me to do a remote clearing on him to see if it would help him. I agreed to do so.

I found 7 demons in the right hemisphere of his head sapping his energy and exacerbating all the negative energy that was in him. These demons came on him when he was 2 years old. Demons are attracted to people of the light and seek their destruction.

Jim had an earthbound spirit named Danny in his heart who died at age 27 trying to escape from prison in England in 1937. Danny fell from the prison wall and impaled himself on a fence post, which killed him. Danny had worked as a bouncer in a house of prostitution and killed a man in a fight by cutting his throat. He was sentenced to 30 years in prison and served 2 years till he died trying to escape. He had a limp in his left leg from a broken kneecap obtained in a fight. He was trying to rob one of the customers in the house of prostitution. Danny's father was a drunk and killed Danny's mother when Danny was 4 years old. He was a very depressed person, he hated life, he had no friends and he consorted with whores and thieves. Denny brought the energy of his death and the negative energy of his life to Jim when he attached to him at age 2 when Jim fell down the stairs and broke his right leg.

Five dark force energies entered Jim in his heart-lung area when he was 4 years old. The demons could enter him without problem because he was open since Danny entered him at age 2. The demons were trying to kill Jim with cancer but that would not become apparent until he was 26 years old. Six additional demons entered Jim had age 6 and lodged in his stomach and lower intestines. These demons were also going to kill Jim with cancer, which was not yet manifest. These demons caused him to lie and steal as a way of destroying his future life. All of these demons were attracted to Jim because he has a bright light and dark force energies (demons) are attracted to people of the light and try to destroy them. A soul mind fragment (SMF) of Jim's mother came into him when he was born. The SMF was created by fear and sadness and these energies came into Jim at birth.

Two pass lifetimes of Jim came through during this remote, one on each of the two layers of consciousness that I could reach in this remote. In past life number 1, Jim was a woman named Dixie who lived in New Orleans and was a prostitute. She died of him venereal disease at age 38 in 1922. Her father was a bank robber and a common thief and was in jail most of the time. Her mother and grandmother raised her until she ran away at the age of 17. This was after her boyfriend Donald, him who was a thief, beat her. Dixie's mother Sally cleaned houses for a living and she prayed repeatedly for Dixie who was often ill. Dixie was despondent him and and very unhappy and was used by men sexually to do unclean things and illegal acts for them. Dixie often spent nights in jail after having been caught stealing for the men. Police also took sexual advantage of Dixie. She had a tragic life and brought all of this energy to Jim.

In a second past life Jim was a man named Randy who was killed at age 41 in 1939 while in jail in Juarez, Mexico. Randy was put into jail for being drunk and disorderly and for thievery. He stole cocaine and other drugs and money from the hotel owner were he worked as a bouncer in the hotel bar. Randy was very depressed, lonely and suffered from tuberculosis. He was stabbed to death for trying to steal drugs from fellow inmates of the Juarez Jail. Randy brought the energy of his death and the negative energy of his life to Jim.

I removed all the dark force energies that were trying to kill him and got rid of the negative energies coming over from the two past lifetimes that Jim had on the two layers of consciousness that I could reach in this remote. I used the tube method getting rid of the initial sensitizing event in the first past life and the subsequent sensitizing event in Jim's second past life.

I ended up doing several remotes on Jim because he had so many layers of consciousness that were blocked by negative energy. But just removing the energies I found on these two layers of consciousness in this remote made a significant change in Jim's present life and his grandmother was very pleased with the results.

NOTE: Is it possible for one person to possess so many 'demons' and malevolent entities? Does a past life influence a current life? Can physical & clinical illness be caused by these dark forces? This case study gives a lot of diagnosis, but little background as to how Dr. Skillas determined the causes.

This is how Dr. Skillas describes his remote work:

My work consists of clearing negative energy from layers of consciousness and restoring the flow of life force energy to the cell communities of the body. Once the negative energy is cleared it is possible to successfully reprogram the subconscious, which can affect behavior, how the client feels, and how the client reacts to life. Once the client is clear (the negative energy has been removed) I can then spiritually repair the damage to the cells caused by the negative energy on the layers of consciousness just cleared.

The client must understand that we can clear only the negative energy on the layers of consciousness that we can access, which for remote work is two. The client and not we control this, and so if the symptoms disturbing the client don't disappear after the remote, it means that the energy of those symptoms is not on the layers we could access.

Dr. Skillas lists his requirements for conducting a remote session:

- A recent picture of the subject. If there are others in the photo, please indicate which is the subject,
- Subject's date and location of birth,
- Subject's birth name,
- Payment of $600 by bank certified check or postal money order. If payment is by personal check, we must allow it to clear before proceeding.
- A brief history of the client's current problem, and, in chronological order, major negative events. For example, "In 2003, at age 27, I witnesses a traffic fatality just a few feet from me, and saw the pain and terror on the victim's face as he died. Since then, I've had trouble..."

I'd be interested in your comments. Lon

Simplified Astral Projection

Robert Monroe’s 1971 book, Journeys Out of the Body describes a rather long and complicated technique for inducing OBEs. The following is a simplified summary of Monroe’s method:

1. Lie down in a darkened room in a comfortable position, but with your head pointing towards magnetic north. Make sure you will not be disturbed.

2. Loosen your clothing and remove all jewelry and metal objects, but make sure you keep warm.

3. Begin by entering into a relaxing state of both mind and body. Then consciously tell yourself that you will perceive and recall everything that occurs during the upcoming process which will be of benefit to your being.

4. Begin breathing through your half-open mouth.

5. Enter the state bordering sleep, known as the “hypnogogic state”, by concentrating solely on one particular object. When other thoughts start intruding and you lose focus, you have entered the hypnogogic state.

6. When these other images start to enter your mind, watch them passively, this will also help you maintain this state of near-sleep.

7. Begin to clear your mind and observe your field of vision through your closed eyelids. Do nothing more for a while – simply look through your closed eyelids at the darkness in front of you.

8. After a while you may observe light patterns, take no notice, they are only neural discharges which are of no significance.

9. When these cease, you enter a deeper state of relaxation where you lose all awareness of the body and sensory stimulation. You are almost in a void where your only source of stimulation will be your own thoughts.

10. With eyes closed, look out into the blackness at a spot about a foot from your forehead. Concentrate on this spot, and then move your consciousness to a point three feet away, then six, then turn it 90 degrees upwards, reaching above your head.

11. Mentally draw down the “vibrations” from this point above you into your body. You are now entering the vibrational state, sometimes indicated by a tingling feeling, as if electricity is rushing through your body.

12. Learn to control the vibrational state by concentrating on the waves of vibrations and mentally pushing them from your head down through your entire body to your toes. Practice this process until you can perform it on command.

13. Now you have control of the vibrational state you are ready to experiment with leaving your body. The most straightforward technique recommended by Monroe is the “lift-out”. To employ this method imagine yourself getting lighter and of how pleasant it would be to float upwards.

14. Be sure to keep control of your thought and don’t allow any extraneous material to enter your mind and interrupt them. You will soon find yourself floating upwards above your body – your first OBE.

15. With enough practice of this method, Monroe claims that a whole other world of experiences will open up to you.

Exorcism: Casting Out Devils, 1893

The following vintage newspaper article was published in Paris Figaro in October 1983:

Description of the Operation, by a Believer

The possessed woman of [?] is cured now, not by the doctors, who were unable to do anything for her, but by the theological science of the cure of the parish and the firmness of Monsignor [?oux], Bishop of Versailles, which shows that exorcism has its reasons for existence and that “possession” is as real as hysteria. As a matter of fact, the church has never laid down her arms in the presence of the the devils.

There are four principal signs through which the possessed one is recognized. First, no known remedy relieves him; second, he speaks of incidents and facts beyond his natural reach, and which nobody has revealed to him; third, he foretells events and speaks several languages unknown to him before his affliction; fourth, in the presence of a priest and at sacred ceremonies he trembles, suffers pain, writhes and blasphemes.

The Catholic priests and especially the Dominicans have, from away back, practiced exorcism. According to the canons the exorcist belongs to one of the minor orders which precede the priesthood. He must be humble of heart in his ministry, and, if he operated with any thought of display, he risks for himself the contagion of the evil spirits that still remain to be cast out.

Ordinarily the ceremony takes place in the church in the presence of the faithful assembled at prayer, particularly at the feasts of the Nativity, of the Resurrection, of the Ascension, of Pentecost, of the Virgin Mary, and of the Apostles. After the morning mass, to which the possessed one assists, the exorcist puts on the surplice and assists the priest who puts on the violet colored cape, the symbol of the pains of Purgatory. The patient who has confessed then approaches. A stole is passed around his neck to tie the devils that have become the masters of his body. Then the sign of the cross is made upon him and he is sprinkled with the holy water. In Latin, the devil is commanded to tell his name, to say whether or not he is alone, and why he is there. Finally, he is ordered to depart. The conjuration in any other language, and especially in Hebrew, is useless. Hebrew is reserved for Satan himself.

The Flagelllum demonum contains the most complete formulas of exorcism, consisting of well-known prayers mingled with the most ancient and strangest appelations of God, such as Oh, Adonal Tetragrammaton, and others, which come in part from Chaldea, from Phoenicia, and from Greece. The words are supposed to possess in themselves a certain power of evocation of celestial virtues which terrify the infernal legions. The words of Christ, according to Saint Matthew, 1, 2, 3, are the most in use to drive out evil spirits.

If the demon does not retire immediately , the exorcist takes a painted image representing him and throws it into the consecrated fire along with incense [?] and sulphur with strong mystic odor, intending to prove by this act that he will send the evil back into his natural element, hell. This done, he places upon the head of the possessed one the Book, the Relles, the Crucifix, and sometimes even the Host, the last and invincible remedy. According to the authority of certain demonographs, the devil then comes out through the nose of the patient.

In the ancient monasteries they made the exorcist carry upn his person certain amulets containing protective formulas. Sometimes thse formulas, written upon pieces of parchment, were swallowed. In the process of digestion he exorcism was accomplished without fatigue

In our days exorcism has taken refuge in La Trappa. The clergy are somewhat averse to it, while at the same time they do not refuse to admit it. The man who breaks the spells is very old. But the devils cast out by the good monks are reduced to the tormenting of animals. Pigs are their favorites. Then the old spell smasher whips them with beads and sprinkles them with holy water, and the pigs recover and beome happy, because the devils go away.

J.K. Huysmans has been able to speak of the power of demons and the efficacity of exorcisms. Morever, the emiment writer was well acquainted with one of the most learned demongraphers of his time, the Abbe Bonlian, who ran through hell in his bare feet, and holding the Host in his hands.

Either the Church of Sancipt or the Church of Senneville I received this curious document from M. Gilbert Augustin Thieery, the author of [?] The cure of Petites Dalles, in curing the possessed, says a special mass, called the “red mass” or “mass of the martyrs.” Red flowers are placed upon the altar, and the priest wear a tre dle. The church is draped in purple.

But, stranger still, a few years ago the wife of the editor of a leading Catholic journal in Paris, being troubled by evil spirits, witnessed the death of the Dominican priest who was endeavoring to exorcise her, and who was unable to guard himself against the forces with which he was contending. – Paris Figaro - October 1893

Sketches: Who Is This?

For much of 2013, I have been a part of two important investigations that have required the talents of of several people worldwide. The Todd Sees Incident of Northumberland, PA is one of the cases. Since March 2013, there have been several new disclosures in the investigation. I am confident that a final report will be presented by the group in the not-so-distant future.

The 2nd investigation is still ongoing and is centered in southcentral Pennsylvania. At this time, I am required to be vague in the location and description of the case...though, I plan to detail the investigation in a future series on this blog.

Not too long ago, one of our researchers contracted a psychic artist as part of the 2nd investigation. As a result, two series of sketches were developed. One of the sketch series directly correlated to the 2nd case...but the other sketch series is an enigma. Since some of the same people have been involved in both cases, I have a sense that the other sketch series is the same person (the two sketches depicted) and may be related to the Todd Sees affair.

I realize that my request is a longshot, but any information that you can provide may be of use. Thanks...Lon

My Predictions For 2013...A Recap

On December 25, 2012, I posted 'my predictions' for 2013. The link can be found at Predictions: 2013 and Beyond and posted below. How well did I do?

I will post my thoughts on 2014 before January 1st...Lon

Predictions: 2013 and Beyond

Well...here it is. These predictions are mostly common sense based...but there are a few 'revelations' using my 'other' sense:

1 – I have a very strong sense of cataclysmic destruction on the African continent – involving volcanic activity and coastal upheaval resulting in mass migration, possibly from a tsunami event or tidal surge from a massive storm.

2 – 2013 should be an excellent year for those born under the signs of Leo & Taurus. Business & personal relationship opportunities will be available as well as increased respect from others. More than ever, success for the majority of the workforce depends on networking & friends in the right places. The demand for online marketing will continue to increase. It remains the most cost effective way to create brand awareness, increase product demand, and generate leads for a company.

3 – Increased government disruption in Iran. Economic sanctions by the U.S. & the world are cutting deep into the Iranian economy and social order. I don’t expect military attacks on nuclear facilities by the U.S. and/or Israel…but I would not be surprised that the U.S. funds civilian factions within Iran. Islamic fundamentalism has reached a crossroads in the Middle East and those who ignore individual freedoms for their citizens will be left in the dust.

4 – After the ‘fiscal cliff’ and ‘debt ceiling’ nonsense is ironed out (and it eventually will be) I predict a continued steady rise in the U.S. stock market. In fact, I think that there is a very good chance that 2013 can exceed most forecasts. The bond market will remain average at best…though I do believe the Federal Reserve will eventually raise interest rates regardless of their promise not to do so. The forecast for the EuroZone is not so optimistic. A breakup may not occur in 2013…but I feel it will eventually happen despite bail-outs and debt restructuring.

5 – A major government will experience a huge cyber attack during 2013 resulting in worldwide review of defenses, identification of security gaps and the application of new radical safeguards. ‘Ransomware’ is a term that will become more prevalent in 2013. It is operated by encrypting files on a victim’s computer which can only be unlocked by paying the hackers a ‘fine’ or ‘ransom’. It has been a big issue in other countries and will see its way to the U.S. in the very near future.

6 - Renewable energy will start to be seen as an economic force worldwide. Backup battery storage, that charges up batteries for continued use after the wind or sun dies down, looks to be one source of renewable energy that offers a good viable alternative. Japan and China are leading the way in developing this technology…but the U.S. and Europe may surge forward if public utilities start to invest.

7 – I have had an odd ‘feeling’ over the past few years that may lead to a major disclosure in 2013. An undisputable revelation concerning the 9/11 attacks may come forward from an inside source. 2013 will be the year that starts renewal and truth. There may be several stark realities that unfold in our near future…many that could shake our trust in the standard-bearings of our democratic society.

8 – Now some advice: DO NOT start a retail business in a mall or shopping center. Online business is steadily growing because of convenience and the increased connection with social media. There are very few thriving physical retailers these days outside of the daily consumables markets. There just are too many malls in America, and this will only get worse. Form a viable online business plan, build an appealing easy-to-use retail site, purchase an appropriate domain and get established online ASAP. Most online retail sites need a minimum of 6 months to establish web recognition. If you are new to online retailing it may be prudent to invest in a professional service to kick-start the process.

9 – Good luck in 2013 and beyond. Lon

NOTE: Let's see if 2014 can generate more optimism and hope...Lon

Remote Viewing: A Real Phenomena and the Risk of Cosmic Brinkmanship

Project Stargate Briefing Document

STARpod.org, the public website presence for STARstream Research, posted a 72-page Defense Intelligence Agency SECRET briefing in 2010.

The DIA STAR GATE briefing document reports that paranormal "psychic vision," referred to as "remote viewing" by the Department of Defense, is, to quote from the document, "a real phenomenon."

According to the DIA SECRET document, which was declassified by the CIA a few years ago, investigations of paranormal phenomena led researchers to conclude that "an unusual mechanism may have been observed" with "significant application implications." In addition, the detection of a mechanism behind psychic vision was thought to "shed light on some foreign activities," suggesting that the Intelligence Community was monitoring progress being made in paranormal research elsewhere in the world.

Other STAR GATE documents prove that paranormal activities had been conducted across a vast swath of the government, including CIA, DIA, the US Navy, the US Air Force, the US Army, and at least one agency that was redacted from the document.

Recently, confidential sources have come forward suggesting the redacted agency may have been the National Security Agency (NSA). According to the sources, following the attacks of 9/11, American intelligence sought the use of psychics to locate Saddam's hideout in Iraq and to locate hidden nuclear locations in Iran.

According to the historical record found in the STAR GATE files, the Former Soviet Union (FSU) was involved with their own paranormal activities: US intelligence monitored their work, and, in some cases, attempted to reproduce their experiments.

The Missile Intelligence Agency of the U.S. Army was concerned that psychokinesis might be used by an enemy to affect sensitive electronic systems.

INSCOM, the Army's Intelligence and Security Command, used psychics to "remote view" and collect intelligence against enemy targets.

The Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) conducted threat assessments about foreign paranormal operations, looked into counter-psychic methods, and trained psychics to collection intelligence.

The U.S. Army Surgeon General funded research at SRI International to "document that psychoenergetic [paranormal] phenomena are real and reproducible, to determine the underlying mechanisms, and to bring psychoenergetics research into the mainstream of human performance research."

Magnetoencephalograph (MEG) brain-wave measurement research was conducted by Los Alamos National Laboratory in support of the 1990's era STAR GATE paranormal research.

Psychic spy clients included Joint Interagency Forces against suspected drug smuggling operations.

Research was eventually moved to Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), a major defense contractor.

According to the report's technical analysis:

Noting that "approximately 1 percent of the general population appears to meet strict statistical criteria for exhibiting a robust AC [psychic] ability," the report then notes that SAIC "may have discovered the source of an AC [psychic] signal."

"Recent experimental data from the former Soviet Union and similar experiments conducted in this country suggest that the peripheral nervous system may be susceptible to AMP [psychic] influence."

"The evidence for a valid information transmission anomaly (anomalous mental phenomena (AC)) [psychic functioning] meets all recognized statistical and methodological criteria. This means the anomaly cannot be explained by poor experimental design, incorrect protocols, faulty analysis, or fraud. The magnitude of this anomaly is considered to be medium- to-large when compared to other known human behaviors."

The Psychic Warriors & the CIA

Metaphysical and psychic phenomena have long existed on the fringes of conventional science and academia. ESP, clairvoyance, telekinesis and astral traveling have all been relegated to the back seat of mainstream, accepted belief systems in spite of an extensive mention of these practices down the ages, across myriad cultures. It has always been challenging for practitioners of the science to be validated by the prevailing status quo.

That however changed in 1995 when the CIA declassified a top secret program that had been training individuals in the esoteric science of 'Remote Viewing' in which, it was claimed, people were able to envision ongoing activities in distant places and future events.

Remote viewing was tested and deployed under rigorous scientific conditions to obtain data about foreign espionage activities, counter terrorism efforts, secret military bases abroad and hidden missiles. It recognized the inherent psychic potential in humans and attempted to harness these special faculties or 'powers' for the purposes of intelligence gathering, often of a vital nature.

The initial testing was done at the Stanford Research Institute where extensive investigations were carried out into the human mind's capacity to transcend all bounds of time and space. The research was supported by the CIA and other government agencies for over two decades.

Russell Targ, Hal Puthoff and Ingo Swann were the original founders of this once-secret program. Their task was to learn to understand psychic abilities, and to use these abilities to gather information about the Soviet Union during the Cold War. They found from years of experience that people can quickly learn to do remote viewing, and can frequently incorporate this direct knowing of the world (both present and future) into their lives.

The project produced some remarkable results. Among them were detailed renderings of secret Soviet bases, the whereabouts of Red Brigade terrorism hostages in Italy, location of victims in the Israeli hostage crisis, locations of Scud missiles during the first Gulf War, etc. The program eventually came to be called 'Operation Stargate'.

The names that surfaced after the declassification of the program in 1995 were Ingo Swann, who initially helmed the project, Dr. Russell Targ, Pat Price, Dr. Hal Puthoff, Joseph McMoneagle and others. This was an interesting group comprised of respected senior military personnel, path breaking scientists and academic luminaries.

Remote viewers can often contact, experience and describe a hidden object, or a remote natural or architectural site, based on the presence of a cooperative person at the distant location, or when given geographical coordinates, or some other target demarcation. Shape, form and color are described much more reliably than the target's name, function, or other analytical information. In addition to vivid visual imagery, viewers sometimes describe associated feelings, sounds, smells and even electrical or magnetic fields. Blueprint accuracy has occasionally been achieved in these double-blind experiments, and reliability in a series can be as high as 80 per cent.

In 1984 Targ organized a pair of successful 10,000-mile remote viewing experiments between Moscow and San Francisco with famed Russian healer Djuna Davitashvili. Djuna's task was to describe where a colleague would be hiding in San Francisco. She had to focus her attention ten thousand miles to the west and two hours into the future to correctly describe his location. These experiments were performed under the auspices and control of the USSR Academy of Sciences. Djuna hit the mark on all counts and the experiment was declared a resounding success.

Ten years earlier, in 1974, Russell Targ and his colleague Hal Puthoff carried out a demonstration of psychic abilities for the CIA. Pat Price, a retired police commissioner, described the inside and outside of a secret Soviet weapons laboratory in the far reaches of Siberia -- given only the geographical coordinates of latitude and longitude for a reference. This trial was such a stunning success that they were forced to undergo a formal Congressional investigation to determine if there had been a breach in National Security. Of course, none was ever found, and the government supported them for another fifteen years.

Data from these formal and controlled investigations were highly statistically significant (thousands of times greater than chance expectation). The twenty years of remote viewing research conducted for the CIA is outlined in ‘Miracles of Mind: Exploring Nonlocal Consciousness and Spritual Healing

Recent research in areas as different as distant healing and quantum physics are in agreement with the oldest spiritual teachings of the sages of India, who taught that "separation is an illusion." The powers we are discovering now are described by Rishis as Siddhis, or fruits of deep penance and arcane Yogic techniques, verbally transmitted, only known to inner circles.

What is remarkable however, is the fact that the cat is finally out of the bag with regard to parapsychology, metaphysics and the occult. The so-called 'mainstream' has not only recognized the stunning potential of psychic energy but has gone so far as to harness it for territorial one-upmanship. The human race only needs to realize the vast reserves of raw power that it has at its disposal to effect profound and genuine transformation of the human condition on a global scale.

NOTE: The government, military and institutional exploitation of this phenomenon is troubling. In my mind, there is little doubt that a similar program continues to this day. It is being utilized by world governments in a game of cosmic brinkmanship. How can anyone comprehend the complete ramifications of unleashing such potential devastating forces without first understanding the holistic nature of the universe and all that lives within it...Lon

Stonehenge Bluestone Sonic Properties Revealed

British researchers, reporting in the journal Time & Mind: the Journal of Archaeology, Consciousness and Culture, may have cracked the mystery of why the builders of Stonehenge chose to haul some of its giant bluestones 320 km away from Wales to Salisbury Plain.

Their pilot study is focused on bluestones in the Carn Menyn Ridge, Preseli Hills, south-west Wales, the source area of some of the Stonehenge bluestones.

According to local legend, the bluestones possess magical and healing properties. But what Dr Paul Devereux and Dr Jon Wozencroft from London’s Royal College of Art have now discovered are the extraordinary ‘sonic properties’ of these stones, which might have led to their use in Stonehenge.

After testing over 1,000 stones at points all along the Carn Menyn Ridge, they found that on average, between 5-10 percent of the rocks ‘ring’ when hit. In localized places, the figure rises to 15–20 percent, ‘with a few very small hotspots up to double that percentage again.

“When struck, some make a range of metallic sounds, from pure bell-like tones to tin drum noises to deeper gong-like resonances,” Dr Devereux and Dr Wozencroft explained.

Being in no doubt that the source area of the Stonehenge bluestones is a noteworthy soundscape, the scientists traveled to Stonehenge itself. The sonic properties of the bluestones were tested in situ, the first time this had ever been done.

“Was sound a key reason behind the otherwise inexplicable transport of these stones from Preseli to Salisbury Plain – whether they were to be rung at Stonehenge, or simply because the megalith builders associated them with the magical properties of the astonishing Carn Menyn soundscape?”

“Stonehenge will never tell us for certain. But given all that the study has discovered, such a suggestion may well ring true with further research.” - Sci-New

Working With Preseli Bluestones

As you may know, I use crystals & stones in my energy / light work. I acheive this by matching the vibration of the crystal / stone with the subject...not always an easy endeavor. But when a connection is made, it creates a more intense & accurate 'clear sight'...especially when I focus on spirit energy.

Several years ago, I received a rough palm-sized piece of Preseli Bluestone from an American veteran of WWII. He had been to Stonehenge in Wiltshire while stationed in the UK. He obtained the bluestone from the site...though I'm not sure what the legalities were at the time.

I feel that it possesses a primordial vibration with an ancient energy. It's hard to explain...but it has a vibration like no other crystal I have worked with. I also use it when I need to meditate before a session.

This crystal is not always blue, and many of the polished stones looks more green or greenish-grey in color. The stone is spotted Dolerite which contains feldspar, with inclusions of Illmenite or Hematite, intergrown with titanium oxides. A number of these stones have a mottled appearance, some have yellow inclusions, and most contain tiny flecks of white chalk or white quartz within them.

These are excellent stones to boost spiritual and psychic abilities such as clairsentience and psychic visions. Like I stated previously, the vibration of this crystal clarify connections with spirit energy. I know a few Reiki healers who feel that Preseli Bluestone can strengthen the immune system...increasing resistance to disease. Lon

What is Spiritual Alchemy?

I have received that very question many times. What is spiritual alchemy? My answer is personal and most likely different from others, but here is a simple explanation:

I have always sought spiritual guidance and growth by travelling a lifelong course to enlightenment. Spiritual connection comes through transcending one's being. My basic hypothesis of spiritual alchemy is that it's a personal connection with a celestial consciousness. Some people, including myself, refer to it as the Akashic Records, an energetic and vibrational imprint of every thought, action, emotion, and experience that has ever occurred in time and space.

By recognizing and facing my inner consternations, I have evolved emotionally and spiritually to the point where I can perceive an insight to my soul. I'm not afraid to look in mirror because I know that real independence comes from self-knowledge.

The ancient alchemists believed that their endeavors on this earth plane paralleled what was occurring beyond in the celestial realm. Their axiom was “as above, so below” when they attempted to turn simple elements into refined metals. They were equally determined to do the same with their souls.

Spiritual alchemy is my journey to genuineness, virtue, inspiration and creativity. Each day presents divine wisdom and astral awareness. Lon
