Arcane Radio Presents: Tim Shaw - Author / Photographer / Producer

This week we welcome our friend & colleague, author / photographer / producer Tim Shaw to Arcane Radio.

Rev. Tim Shaw has had a life long interest in the investigation of occult and esoteric subjects. The religion of Modern Spiritualism was introduced into his family in the 1880’s and thus he comes from a long line of psychics and mediums. Tim is also an Ordained Spiritualist Minister, Certified Medium, Reiki Healer – achieving the Master/Teacher level, trained Spiritualist Healer, Dowser, and Metaphysical Instructor.

As well as following a traditionalist approach to paranormal research he also embraces new scientific techniques and methodologies used by the modern “para” investigator.

Tim is Founder and CEO of Sean Thomas Productions. He is an accomplished Photographer who also enjoys Backwoods Primitive Trekking, Flintknapping, Urban Exploration and is also a skilled Traditional Leather-worker. Tim has authored The Ghosts of Buffalo; Spirits, Murder, And Mayhem In The Nickel City Co-Authored Haunted Rochester:: A Supernatural History of the Lower Genesee (Haunted America) and has contributed a chapter in Marla Brooks wonderful book Animal Spells and Magick In E.R. Verner's Haunted Asylums Tim has written both the Introduction as well as shared photographs from various locations. His photography also appears in Verner's newest release Haunted Prisons

In his work Please Talk With Me, The True Story Of The C2D1 Haunting Tim has researched and written about one of the most devastating negative haunting in the Western New York region. It serves as the official companion book to a movie of the same name! In 2015 he finished an exciting new book of spirit channeled and inspired writings along with his photography in his latest book From the Dogma of ... ME which was published by Dark Moon Press. His writings have been included in Lost Whispers The Collective Allegories of Haunted America Tim has been featured on The SyFy Channel's "Ghost Hunters" (The Well of Horror),The Discovery Channel's "Ghost Lab" (The Betrayal/Fort Niagara), "CBS Radio"(The Wake Up Call, By The Soul, For The Soul, The Astral Bag Lady, and The Psychics Next Door), "Paranormal NY", Spike Network’s "Ghost Ops" (Fort Mifflin/William Howe), Deftone Pictures Studio's "Ombis", "To Catch A Soul", and "A Grim Becoming", The Award Winning "Marsh Creek Tramp," as well as Core Productions Documentary "John Zaffis, The World Within". Most recently he has been featured on Destination America’s hit show “Paranormal Lockdown” (The Hinsdale House episode). Presently he and Eric Charles are filming an exciting new web series entitled “Curiosity.”

Arcane Radio Presents: Nicole Strickland - Paranormal Investigator / Author

This week we welcome our friend & colleague, paranormal investigator / author Nicole Strickland to Arcane Radio.

Nicole Strickland currently resides in San Diego, California, and has been innately intrigued with the paranormal since childhood and has studied the field for many years. She has been actively investigating historical landmarks and private residences for paranormal activity since the early 2000s, after a profound experience with the spirit of her beloved grandmother. She is the Founder and Director of the San Diego Paranormal Research Society (SDPRS); and serves as the team’s EVP Specialist and historical locations case manager. Nicole has worked with various Southern California paranormal research teams prior to developing SDPRS in 2009. She is also a core member of the Ghost Research Society, headed by renowned paranormal researcher Dale Kaczmarek, and was appointed to the GRS Southern California Area Research Director position in 2009.

She is also a published author with the Ghost Research Society Press with her first book, Field Guide to Southern California Hauntingspublished in 2009. Her second book, The Haunted Queen of the Seaswas published in May of 2010. In December 2015, Nicole released her newest book, Spirited Queen Mary

Nicole has conducted numerous paranormal research investigations throughout Southern California and even out-of-state. Her favorite place to conduct ghost research is at none other than the legendary RMS Queen Mary, located in Long Beach, California, as it is an ongoing historical and paranormal research project for her. Nicole has spent countless hours on the ship (40+ investigations on board the liner), gathering paranormal evidence, participating in research projects and continues to study the Mary’s extensive history. She gives presentations on the RMS Queen Mary at paranormal conferences and events, discussing the ship’s history, paranormal encounters and showcasing a wide array of paranormal evidence.
